Disappointed

Have you ever had a situation where you have done everything you could for someone only to find there is no pleasing them?  I had a situation this week with a customer from Russia, she placed an order and it has been 4 weeks, a long time I agree.  The problem is when items are shipped out of the country the customer is at the mercy of their country's custom department.  I have spoke with the Postal Service as well as Paypal both telling me to wait 20 more days due to this being an international order.

For orders to Russia it can take 4 to 6 weeks, after many emails and trying to do everything I could for this customer I had to finally just refund the money.  It is disappointing because the items were sent in good faith and will probably arrive any day.

I received an email today from her threatening to blog about this.  That is the problem with blogs sometimes, they can be used as a weapon.  I write about this because I now find it necessary to stop orders to this country given the relationship we have as a country with this country.

It is our policy to go the extra mile for our customers and we do everything in our power to help them.  It is disappointing because there are some people that you cannot please no matter what you do.  The cost of doing business I guess.

Tomorrow is a new day and we will greet it with a smile as we always do!  :D

Just in a nick of time!

I just made it, the deadline for the Vintage Schnibble AYOS!
This was so much fun, I am so thankful to Sinta and Sherri for hosting this again this year. I have always wanted to but never seamed to have the time. So I have my first one under my belt and ready for more. This may be my new obsession.

I have had the Charm Packs I used ( Nell's Flower Shop ) for a very long time. I have always loved this fabric and decided this was the perfect project for the fabric. I just love how it turned out.

Does anyone else do that, you get a fabric and then you just can't use it until the right project comes along?

I have been admiring all of the ones so far and they are all beautiful, I can't wait to find out what the next one will be!

Happy Quilting,
Chris

Vintage Schnibbles

Hello everyone,

Have any of you made a Schnibbles pattern? They are the cutest little quilts by Carrie Nelson of Miss Rosie's Quilt Co. I have not had the time for these in the past but the time is now. There is a year long of these little pretties starting this month. I am in how about you? I'm very excited! I have just the fabric, vintage Moda called Nell's Flower Shop. I love this fabric and I think it is perfectly seasoned for a project :D
